Sewing machine cover

My Sewing machine started to jam. And I was a little frustrated (ok a lot) as I was trying to finish one last verse pack before I had to send it out. With much yelling and only partial swear words I finished but I was very concerned about my machine.

So I googled it and tried cleaning it out, dust can make it jam. Apparently I had a family of dust bunnies residing in my machine and didn't know it! I am surprised it was working at all.

I remembered Kate making a cover for her machine and decided to do the same. I didn't have enough of any one fabric, just scraps from TreasuredWord stuff. So, I combined this tutorial I got from Kate and this tutorial I got from Jenny to make my cover.

My intention was to have straight lines but I think the wonky-ness makes it a little more endearing. :)
